about

Coming from a sphere where time's been warped and shifted is 'Upper Hand', the commencing second chapter of the solo venture by Melbourne via Sweden's Cēas.

A previous exploration of progressive pop (the 'Good Spirit Bad Spirit' EP) has dove deeper into less chartered waters to probe new sonic breeds. It's a collection that got left astray but that's now been resurrected from the undersurface and is paving a path to destined sounds to come.

With a New Wave-mindset and controlled paranoia the songs go through the motions of a one-man crusade to take the seemingly conventional and submerge it with gloom and bloom. It's a parallel universe with each track spinning its own course whilst together orbiting the same moon. Comparisons can be drawn to fine acts such as Clark, John Talabot & Wall of Voodoo.

*Best enjoyed in May or September, depending on your hemisphere.

C.ease Stockholm, Sweden

Ceas is a one-man sonic venture out of Stockholm via Australia emerging as progressive and semi-electronic sounds.

With a New Wave-mindset and controlled paranoia the songs go through the motions of taking the seemingly conventional and submerge it with gloom and bloom. Naive emotions and split feelings are turned into daydreamed melodies, manifesting as souls finding a body.
